h.265 vs. h.264

I did wonder at the wisdom of doing this. Cadence & Jasmine's Holding Contest was compressed using the "new" codec h.265 (HEVC) to save space and make delivery faster, but someone has already complained that they can't play the video. I did prepare an h.264 version in case this happened. If I get much of this, I will just carry on with h.264 until the world catches up, which means the files will tend to stay big and, for some, will be harder to download.

If anyone wants to update their player to cope with h.265, the article below should do it. By the way, VLC 3 already handles it, as does Quicktime player. Naturally, the dunderhead in the pack is Microsoft's WMP - what a shock.
