Just Out Of Reach & Confined Without A Bathroom (MP4) - Cadence Lux
Because it is not possible to group movies on Clips4Sale, I fairly often republish past videos in pairs, or maybe even as a set of 3 or 4. However, for their platform, the videos have to be combined into one big file, not something that works well with OpenCart. These two movies have just been publi...

Re: Sinthia Bee: Set 10 (MP4) - 52 minutes
They certainly are. I totally screwed that up!!! Fixed now. I'm not clear what you mean about the sizes. To further explain to anyone who has not seen anything about this yet, there are two copies of each video, one processed with a compression codec that has been around for about 20 years, the othe...

Sinthia Bee: Set 10 (MP4) - 52 minutes
sinthia_bee_set_10_800.jpg This set is offered with a choice of codecs. The h.264 is the older choice which produces larger files, while h.265 roughly halves the file sizes. I plan to adopt the latter in the near future, so this is your chance to offer any feedback. 1. Help Came Too Late h264: 7 mi...

Re: Video sizes and bitrates
Setting the bit rate at 5,000 kbps fixes this I think, and gives roughly a 50% reduction in file size. I will publish both formats for a few weeks to see how buyers get on, then I'll take away the h.264 option. That will motivate people to complain I am sure

Re: Video sizes and bitrates
Here's a direct comparison. You can download the following clip in three formats. 1. Using Apple Devices for 1080p straight from Final Cut Pro using h.264. This uses a bit rate of 12,000 kbps. I've been using this recently to increase the quality. 35 seconds, 43.4 MB https://www.bound2burst.net/movi...

Re: Video sizes and bitrates
Processing the 74-minute video with h.265 at 4,000 kbps resulted in a video size of 2.22 GB. I have created a short segment with these settings; let me know what you think of the quality. You'll need to download it rather than trying to play it online. Right-click and select a download option from y...

Re: Video sizes and bitrates
Not my area of expertise, but I think setting the same bitrate will end up with roughly the same file size. A 74 minute video at 7,500 kbps will be 74 * 60 * 7,500 / 8 = 4.2 GB. The benefit of h.265 is that you should be able to set a lower bitrate - somewhere around 4,000 kbps might end up with th...

Re: Video sizes and bitrates
VLC can, but even on my newest computer with plenty of RAM, it is a bit stuttery with h.265 files. Quicktime player does a better job in this regard; Windows Media is, as you point out, problematic. I am just generating a comparison for a 74-minute compilation. Set at a bit rate of 7,500 kbps, the h...
