She puts this off, but finally feels she has to go. On her way to the toilet, she suddenly remembers a friend, who is visiting China and only has limited access to a telephone, has promised to call her at precisely one-thirty in the afternoon. Since it is already that time, Julia sits by the phone and struggles with her full bladder, a task made still more difficult by her pregnant condition. The minutes pass and the call doesn't come. Too desperate to wait any longer, Julia hurries to the lavatory. She is just pulling her trousers down when the phone finally rings, and she has to postpone her pee to answer it. She squirms around as she talks to her friend, hardly able to wait now. At last, with the conversation still in progress, Julia wets herself. |
